Moorhead High School Remodel and Addition

Moorhead, MN

Part of the $110 million bond referendum passed in 2019 includes the remodel and addition of Moorhead High School. The design has 400,000 square feet of new construction, which includes a larger academic space, gymnasium and fine arts area. The new layout will allow for more parking spaces and a more convenient door for students to enter.

Martin Mechanical Design collaborated on this project since the early stages and will continue to assist during construction in 2021.

Moorhead Area Public Schools Operation and Transportation Center

Moorhead, Minnesota

Moorhead Area Public Schools Operation and Transportation Center is a part of the $110 Million bond referendum passed in 2019. Our team worked closely with the school on this project, which includes a bus garage, administrative offices, meeting rooms, a kitchen and board room.

Heritage Middle School

West Fargo Public Schools is opening a new middle school in Horace, North Dakota. We designed the mechanical systems for the school, alongside YHR Partners, who was responsible for the architecture. The school will accommodate over 900 students and will open in the fall of 2020.

Pelican Rapids High School

Martin Mechanical Design has been involved in several stages of upgrades to Pelican Rapids High School. We designed their large mechanical system, which includes a central chiller, boiler rooms and customizable HVAC systems.

Aurora Elementary School

Aurora Elementary school accommodates 600 students in the largest growing area in the Fargo-Moorhead area. Martin Mechanical designed a high-efficiency condensing boiler with a gas oil boiler for backup. 

West Fargo, North Dakota

Independence Elementary School

Independence Elementary was built in 2014, with a capacity of 570 students. The 10 – acre school area has a heating and cooling system designed by Martin Mechanical, including multiple air handling units with it’s own DX cooling unit.

Brooks Harbor Elementary School is the 13th elementary school in the West Fargo School District. Martin Mechanical designed a customizable, energy efficient solution for the new school, which opened for the 2017-2018 school year.
